Have you ever wondered what city has the best food.. Well now there is a list. If you like to travel and you like to eat this is the list for you. And If you thought the New York had absolutely nothing in common with the modest New Mexican city of Santa Fe, think again. Travel + Leisure readers voted both as two of the top 10 cities for food in the United States.

Here are the top 5:

1- New Orleans - Restaurants can be easily found all over New Orleans, and they range from casual po-boy sandwich shops legendary restaurants like Brennan’s. The Big Easy is also known for its powdery beignets, spicy gumbo and freshly boiled crawfish.

2- Charleston - This city boasts traditional cuisine of the American South, including classics like shrimp and grits, bacon-buttered cornbread and fried green tomatoes.

3- New York City - The Big Apple has long been known for its upscale, headline-making restaursnts, but it’s also one of the best places in the world to get a great pizza slice for pocket change.

4- San Francisco - Food from all across the world can be found here, and it’s easily matched with delicious craft beers. There’s also a crop of new restaurants with adventurous menus.

5- Chicago - It’s the home of deep dish pizza, Chicago dogs and Italian beef, among other delicious items.
