'Lost' First Super Bowl to Be Aired Again!!

January 13, 2016
For the first time since it originally aired in 1967, Super Bowl I will be re-aired, CNNMoney reports. The NFL Network will broadcast the matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs (spoiler alert: The Packers won 35 to 10) on Jan. 15. Tapes of the game, originally broadcast on both NBC and CBS, were lost or erased, and it took NFL Films months to search footage archives and find all 145 plays from the game, the NFL says in a statement. Ultimately, NFL Films reassembled the game from "a couple dozen disparate sources," making this version the "only known video footage of the entire action from Super Bowl 1."
