Someone paid $179,100 for a piece of the Staples Center court from KOBE BRYANT's last game, and that might actually be a reasonable price. It isn't just a random piece of floor board...it's roughly 20-foot by 8-foot, and it features the number '8' that they had on the court for the game.  That was his first number, and he wore it for his first 10 seasons. Kobe also autographed it...and there are photos of him standing on it, signing it with a marker, and the '8' covered with confetti after he scored 60 points to lead the Lakers to a 101-to-96 victory over the Jazz in that final game. The money will go to the L.A. Lakers Youth Foundation.  The buyer is anonymous, so it could be ANYONE with a spare $180K.  Other than SHAQ, of course. If you DID have your heart set on dropping a ton of cash on Kobe...the Lakers team shop is selling an 18-karat gold fitted Kobe hat for $38,248.08.

What purchase was your biggest waste of money?
