Emergency rooms worldwide have seen bizarre injuries of all sorts and the ER doctors at the Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in the UK are sharing some of the oddest cases they’ve encountered. One case involved a woman who was out at the club broke her fingernail. She entered the emergency room pleading doctors to glue it back on. Another patient they treated entered the hospital because ‘they couldn’t get a good night’s sleep at their home.’ The UK emergency rooms also describe that they have treating patients for paper cuts, cold sores, sore throats and sunburns. An estimated 10,000 patients are ‘time wasters’ that both of the UK hospitals see each year.

What bizarre injury sent you or someone you know to the hospital?
