A Connecticut man was arrested Saturday for driving drunk to the state police barracks to pick up his brother, who had also been arrested. Police say just before 7 p.m., 44-year-old Michael Bourgoin drove a VW Jetta to the Troop H headquarters in Hartford, in order to pick up his brother who had been arrested and processed on an unknown charge. Troopers say while speaking with Bourgoin and obtaining his driver’s license, they suspected that he may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Troopers then conducted field sobriety tests on Bourgoin and he did not perform to standard. Bourgoin was then taken into custody and escorted from the processing room to be charged with operating under the influence of drugs/ alcohol. He was held on $500 bond.

An Ohio man who got a police officer's help to find a bit of marijuana lost in his yard has been charged with misdemeanor drug abuse. The patrolman's body camera video shows an intoxicated man admitting he lost the drug. The officer says he doesn't want children to find it and then locates it in the grass. The man asks if he'd throw it back on the ground. The officer refuses.
Police say the officer had found the man stumbling along the road and tried to get him home safely. Some commenters suggested the man has an alcohol problem and criticized police for sharing the video on Facebook. Capt. James Hilles tells the Akron Beacon Journal it's just a light-hearted example of silly things people say to officers.

A Congressional candidate in Virginia’s 8th District has posted a photo on Twitter that incidentally includes a glimpse of his pornography tastes. Mike Webb initially ran as a Republican for the 8th District seat, which covers Arlington and Alexandria and is considered safely Democratic. He lost the nomination, though, and is now running as an independent, though he is, to say the least, unlikely to win. Webb published a post on his campaign page Monday that included a screenshot of his computer desktop. And as it happened, Webb hadn’t bothered to close his pornography tabs when he took his screengrab.

What's the most idiotic thing you've ever done?
