Today's OPP is from Cynthia:

Yi Slacker and Steve,
My husband has two children from a previous marriage and we have one together. I’ve been a part of my step-son’s lives since they were young. They aren't awful, but they do just enough to get by, whether it’s school or work. Our daughter has my work ethic and worked hard to get into a good college and get good grades. I came from nothing and busted my butt to get where I am today. I’ve worked my way up the ladder over the course of my career and have become very successful and made a lot of money. My husband and I were discussing our wills and I want to take my step-sons out of them. I don’t want to leave my hard earned money to these kids who barely put effort into anything. I put everything into my work and that's why I'm successful today. Of course, he wants to make sure all of the children are taken care of if anything ever happens to us. No one would want to see their children struggle if they could help it and he says it would cause a lot of conflict between the kids if the boys are left out of the will. I just don’t think they deserve to have it handed to them on a silver platter for doing nothing. If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear what they have to say. I'm sure other people have been in my shoes.

What should Cynthia do?
