The art of proposing: Step One: Get down on one knee. Step Two: Ask your significant other, “Will you marry me?” Step Three: If they say “yes” place the ring on their finger. Seems easy, right? Unfortunately, it’s not always that easy and things don’t always go as planned. Ohio man, George Begalla planned a spectacular proposal for his girlfriend Katie Woodford. The couple climbed to the top of Camelback Mountain in Arizona and Begalla proposed. His girlfriend said yes and all was merry…until she started hyperventilating. Turns out she was overheated and dehydrated from their 3,000-foot climb in 90-degree heat. George called 911 and soon thereafter Katie was airlifted off the mountain top by helicopter. Things don’t end there. As the helicopter was headed towards the hospital, it had to immediately turn back around to get George whose heart rate was too high to descend the mountain. Though the proposal didn’t go as planned, their day ended on a high note. As the couple lay together in the hospital, they made plans to marry over the weekend.

What’s your best (or worst) proposal story?
