Why Does Sean Ride?

I am riding in support of my longtime friend Michelle. I have know her since highschool and seeing her develop and go through her struggle with MS for years I wanted to do my part for her and others.

Michelle’s Story

I was having left arm numbness that would come and go for quite sometime. One day the numbness spread down my entire left side. I was scared and very confused so I went to the ER. They did an MRI and found that I had MS. That was in 1997 when I was 26 years old. My aunt had died from complications from MS so I actually thought I was going to die which was not the case. Research and medications had come a long way since then. I spent the next 8 years having a MS flare up approx every 3 months. missing a lot of work and treating my flare ups with steroids. I tried multiple MS therapy medications over that time and finally found the "one". Since I have been on Copaxone I have been in remission and have been doing great. -- Michelle T.
