Life was totally normal for Trinity until April 2017. While standing around a bonfire with friends in Granby, Colo., a wind picked up and carried the fire, burning 25 percent of Trinity’s body. Flight for Life transported Trinity to Children’s Colorado. Our Burn Center is the only program in Colorado dedicated just for kids. For two months, Trinity was treated in the intensive care unit and rehab center. She’s made great progress and now attends Medical Day Treatment, a Monday-through-Friday alternative school program at Children’s Colorado that integrates medical treatment. Trinity goes to therapy to heal her scars and improve her strength. Between treatment and school, every day is hard, but she didn’t know she was this strong.

Trinity never knew she was this strong.
